Manaakitanga and Whanaungatanga are at the heart of our practice and what we do. Building strong collaborative relationships with whanau is important to us. Educators strive to provide a nurturing, unhurried and calm environment where our tamariki thrive.
Respect, Communication, Community, and Social Competence are life- long skills that we work hard to support our tamariki’s learning. We build connections and provide opportunities for tamariki to participate in experiences within our wider community.
Te Whariki is our Curriculum that guides our everyday practice to support our tamariki to become life-long learners. As Educators we provide a wide range of enriching experiences for them to learn through their own play. We celebrate our children’s cultures. This grows a child’s mana and fosters a strong sense of belonging. By upholding Te Tiriti O Waitangi, our tangata whenua are empowered in their heritage through Te Reo, waiata, local legends, Tikanga and Te Ao concepts.
